This summer har brought a great buzz to Metcalfe-Harrison.  Her name is Tiffany Regan and her mission: to remake the old playground in Metcalfe Park.  your children, grandchildren, and neighbors deserve a safe, interactive space to play and for the adults to also enjoy.  Read more in the newsletter.

Again the yards and parks look wonderful.  I see lots of families enjoying Metcalfe Park and even more walkers through the area.  Thanks to you all for making your yards clean, safe, and inviting.  It helps everyone's morale, home resale, and property value.....

If your home is your castle, then your neighborhood must be your estate. What are you doing to take care of your estate?  Many of you did wonderous things with landscaping, yard clean up, and colorful flowers this summer flowers this summer.  Believe me, everyone enjoys your efforts.

Metcalfe Neighborhood Fun Facts

According to the Omaha World-Herald, a man heading out west to strike it rich mining for gold didn't get very dar when a saddle fell from his wagon and into a creek.   When the road was established, it became known as "Saddle Creek Road".
